Just like me I am sure you too(or at least most of you) will be having the "nasty" habit of downloading parts or completely website so that it be browsed offline. If you've dreamed of downloading everything off of one website that this review is for you.
So Sometimes when you look at a website, you just want to download everything on it, right? This is what Web Content Extractor 2.3 will do for you. Then you will have it all on your hard drive instead of some web server online, which is very useful sometimes. Go to this site to download the program for free.
This program may be a little complicated for some people, but if you are willing to put in the time to learn a few things about it you will really appreciate it. What you do is load a URL into the program and it downloads the whole page onto your hard drive so you can then compare it and export it to different formats such as CSV, Access, MySQL, and other database formats or web formats.
This is a trial version though so you can only download 150 records. One cool feature of this program is comparing to website structures. You will see how each tag breaks down and when each tag ends before another. This could be useful for finding errors as well as discovering new ways to design websites.

You may also filter your results using logical AND, as well as logical OR to show certain records. One of the best features may be how far you want Web Content Extractor to crawl through a website. So, you can set the “Crawling Depth”. You can tell it to follow certain links if the text contains certain variables. As well as the opposite, tell it to not follow certain links. Or you can have it follow all external links or all internal links. There are many options to use for the crawling.
You can also have it extract meta tag data. This is great if you are trying to learn more about search engines and optimizing your website to get better search results for your website. You can have extract all the keywords, or just the description, or the title, or all three.
This software does not have the best GUI, especially when they are charging you for the software, I would expect something a little better. But, it does get the job done for its tasks.
