Ok in my last post I had covered WidgetBucks Review and had given some basic information about it. On the very day, I had also started using widgetbucks on few of my sites. Here are the result of yesterday (Record of 12 hours approx)
As you can see, there is not much earning from widgetbucks from most of the sites but than they don't get that much traffic as well. One site which give 1500+ impressions in 12 hours did managed to get 6 clicks and with every click of widgetbucks making me $0.28, I think it is fairly decent enough.
I am using it from the past couple of days and I am making $4 day mostly from one site (mentioned above). Since I am not getting much clicks on my heavy traffic site as far as widgetbucks is concerned, I will go back to adsense but will also keep widgetbucks, though not a prime position.
Here are my Conclusions from widgetbucks -
1. It is just like chitika which only performs well on some sites. It is certainly going to perform well Technology and product/review sites but can't say the same about other kind of sites.
2. They are New and promoting heavily. I can bet, they are passing all there %age share from earnings too to the Bloggers hence to high CPC. This is surely going to come down once widgetbucks starts thinking of profit rather than expanding themselves.
3. I can bet there are lot of curiosity clicks as well as the new format is very appealing. Once the user will start knowing what they are, CTR should go down.
My Advice about WidgetBucks - DO NOT remove adsense altogether. Use widgetbucks as an addon. Remember, they are just few weeks old and will only pay in December. The last thing you want is before paying, they auditing there results and you are getting 50% of what you earned!
