Most new sites do not currently charge for content, but that could all change within a year. During a speech in London, Financial Times Editor Lionel Barber said he could, "confidently predict that within the next 12 months, almost all news organizations will be charging for content."
This prediction comes after Rupert Murdoch of News Corporation made a statement in May in which he said his newspaper websites, such as The New York Times, would likely begin charging for content within a year. Incidentally, the New York Times recently let it slip that it was considering a $5 dollars per month subscription fee.

Disney is buying a 30 percent stake in Hulu.com meaning Disney movies and ABC TV shows will be available on Hulu. In the deal that was announced this week, Disney will be bringing older movies and ABC shows to the site in hopes of gaining new viewers and ultimately generating new revenue from the video sharing site.
Hulu has experienced unprecedented growth since its launch in 2007. Recent reports from comScore show that 380 million videos were viewed on the site last month, which is up 14.3 percent from its February statistics. Although still falling behind YouYube, Hulu is among the top three online video sites in the U.S.

Most of the webmasters are well aware of Google sitemaps and occasionally submit to Google too. Though submitting to Search Engine DO not guarantee your pages will appear in search engines but if you have Stores or sites which have tons of pages or if you have a huge forum and feels search engines are not able to index your site properly than you should look to submit your sitemap to search engines.
To Submit to Google, Google Webmaster (you will have to register there first) and submit your XML file. For submittig your sitemap to yahoo, you have to go to Yahoo Explorer.
