Normally people say using dashes and underscores are better than using underscores in urls of your website. Now I have never seen it and matt cutts himself have said that google don't make any difference in them but sometimes people may like to change the link structure and converts dashes (hyphens) into underscores in wordpress. So for that you can use this wordpress plugin. :) Enjoy

In the past 24 hours, I have completely changed the outlook of the site, including the theme. Now it is much more sleek and looks great in all the browsers. Now if you look at the bottom of any of my post, say this one, You can see some little images being shown in every comment. You can do this by installing either Gravatars or MyAvatars Wordpress plugins.

Gravatars plugin uses Gravatar service, any person who is a member of Gravatar service, whenever he comment on any blog(with Gravatars plugin enabled on that blog) his avatar will be shown. It is fairly popular service and many regular bloggers are member of it. So when a commentator posts comments with same email id as what he used for Gravatar service, his corresponding avatar will be shown.

There is a very old and the most popular wordpress plugin for showing related posts at the bottom of every post and almost every wordpress powered site uses  it. You can see at the bottom there are related links being shown :)

It is a good way of retaining your visitors and giving them more options to browse your site. You can download the plugin from this page. This is the same plugin of W-a-s-a-b-i.com. The site has been moved though even now the older links point to that page. Even Google for the phrase "Related Links for wordpress" show the older page of Wasabi which gives 404 error.

Right from the start of this blog I was looking for some wordpress plugin which properly indent, highlight and format any programming code in wordpress and display it with proper syntax highlighting. And eventually I am able to find the magic plugin - it is CodeHighlighter Plugin. Just download it, upload it in your plugin folder and enable it. You can see examples of how to use it for different languages like C++, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Java, Python, CSS and HTML on this Page.

With this plugin, I am also able to convert my ugly wxWidget tutorial page to much more good looking :)
