Ever since youtube has changed its internal structure of video presentation, almost every web scripts have stopped working. Whenever you try to download youtube videos, they give errors. Its unfortunate that Google is still showing such scripts on the front page for the keyword "Download youtube videos". Anyway there is still a site http://keepvid.com/ which is working and you can download youtube clips from it
