Welcome to the multitasking master program for all your social networking needs. With 8hands, which you can install on Windows (with a Mac OSX version coming soon) you can easily keep up to date on the most popular social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and Twitter.
Installing and downloading this is a cinch. It took a whopping five minutes. You have to put in your login information for whatever accounts you want to add, like MySpace. Then it will automatically find all your latest comments from MySpace and all your Top Friends. It's set up like an instant messenger program, all the latest comments, messages, and photos from your friends will show up almost like a buddy list. You just click on the latest comment it will take you to your browser where you can reply.
The lack of settings for this program is somewhat disappointing. None of the windows have the function to be resized, which seems like it would be very easy to do. Also the general settings for the whole program is like a blank slate. There is nothing to edit in the settings except adding your accounts and a few other minor details.
The best part of the program seems to be the Flickr and YouTube media. There is a gallery that pops up that is automatically filled with all your photos and favorite videos. For both sites you will also see the comments on all the photos and videos, and after just one click you can be responding to the comment. It's really nice to have these features where you can look at four different social networking sites at once without having to load all the advertisements and spam that you get in your web browser.
If you can get over the extreme lack of settings for this program you will probably find it quite useful for keeping up with all your social networking needs.
