Besides the Nokia N97, the company also announced a number of other products at CES 2009. Nokia's overall goal for all these products is to produce simple and easy-to-use products for consumers. Based on the information given on the new devices, it looks like Nokia is meeting their goal.
The first device is the Nokia 1006. This phone is the latest CDMA device offered for AWS carriers. It is lightweight and has a unique curved design that fits comfortably into your hand. The Nokia 1006 would be an ideal first-time mobile device.

Although WiFi-cameras have been around for several years, the addition of a Web browser to the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G3 camera makes it more powerful than any other WiFi camera. Sony unveiled its innovative camera at CES 2009 and showed off the camera's top-notch features.
The Web browser allows users to upload pictures directly to the main multimedia websites such as YouTube, Picasa, Dailymotion, Photobucket, and Shutterfly. The camera can connect to any public hotspot including hotels, airports, and restaurants as well as secure and unsecured access points.

CES 2009 truly brings new meaning to the trite expression: "they've thought of everything." In this show's case, it seems that these companies truly have. Who would have ever thought to put a USB drive, laser pointer, and Bluetooth remote control into a Swiss Army knife? Well, the makers of the original Swiss Army Knife, Victorinox Swiss Army did just that and called it Swiss Army Presentation Pro.
In this video, Martin Kuster and Charles Elsener of Victorinox Swiss Army explain how this knife is now equipped with business necessities but still serves the same purpose that your grandfather used it for. The typical functions of a Swiss Army knife include a blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver, and keyring. The more modern functions include a laser pointer and a Bluetooth remote control for Windows-only PC or laptop presentations.

Nokia turned a lot of heads at CES 2009 with its Nokia N97. The smartphone is part of the company's N series of multimedia computers and is being labeled the "world's most advanced mobile computer." This flagship product of Nokia's N series that is said to be designed for the "needs of Internet savvy customers" has a 3.5-inch touch display and a full QWERTY keyboard.
This phone brings out a new concept that Nokia calls "social location." In this video, Laura Mitchell of Nokia explains how the device is equipped with A-GPS sensors and an internal compass to allow users to find and share their own location, update their social networks, and share pictures and videos.
