In an effort to compete with the popular "Mac vs. PC" ads, Microsoft embarked on a new ad campaign in hopes to improve user's perception of Windows Vista. The first ad featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates aired last night during the NFL's first regular season game.
Although Windows Vista has sold more than 180 million licenses since its launch in 2007, it has struggled with negative feedback since day one. Users seem to view Windows as out-of-date and see Mac as new and cool.

Today, Google introduced a new Web browser that is designed to respond more quickly to video-rich applications. This introduction creates yet another challenge for Google competitors and browsers that were designed to originally handle text and graphics.
Google mistakenly revealed news of its Web browser in an email to Blogscoped.com. The search giant then made the news of Google Chrome official in a company blog post. Google reportedly calls the news "a fresh take on the browser" and said it will be introducing a public trial of the Web browser for Microsoft Corp Windows users today.
