Well I am still searching for few more topics on which I want to write. I think from now I am going to cover more software reviews rather than just writing php and wordpress review articles. Of course occasionally I will also be putting other content.

If you run a large network of Wordpress blogs, than The Auto Upgrade plugin is priceless. I have a lot of sites, and even worse, I’m a security paranoid. That means whenever there’s a new Wordpress upgrade, or there’s a security vulnerability revealed, I have a long day ahead of me. Upgrading Wordpress manually isn’t hard, but it is time consuming.

The Auto Upgrade plugin however, makes it simple. It can either run completely automatically and never require input from you, or it can be run with a few clicks if you’d like to control when the updates are made.

There are a bunch of Wordpress plugins available that can help you to create an autoblogging system. What this can do, is allow you to automatically create new posts through existing RSS, ATOM, or other XML feeds. Now, this can be used as a very useful feature, or it can be used for some shady methods as well.

Obviously, you can use this to aggregate information and create a portal site, maybe even to create a hub site for several of your blogs. However, you can also use it for Spam and provide (or steal) content for large link farms and other shady websites.

Auto Social Poster is by far, one of the best Wordpress plugins I have ever used. There’s no other plugin I’ve found that can even remotely compare to the benefits that it provides. Bottom line is that if there was only one add-on I could even install on my blogs, this would be it.

However, it’s a plugin that never seems to get much publicity or attention. I think this is due to the fact that it’s a paid product and one which isn’t exactly cheap either – it runs $127.00. With what the plugin does however, it’s definitely worth the price. I also think I know why no one ever discusses it.
