The software is MySpace Guardian Toolbar 4.1. It will install just fine and most Windows based PCs. It installs into your Internet Explorer browsers automatically. This is a great program for families and anyone concerned about their own safety and well being when it comes to MySpace, where there are no doubt many sexual predators as well as spam and many other dangerous things floating around. You can download it from download.com. Do tell us though how it is if you use it
With this toolbar you have the options of adding a search engine chooser, Predator Locator, a Skype calling feature, and a traffic reporter called HitsLink. It will gives you quick links to search for friends on MySpace, as well as browse for friends, your MySpace e-mail, Blog, and homepage. It's really nice to have all those links right in a toolbar, instead of trying to navigate through all MySpace's links in your browser.

Yes, it is true. There is a really simple program, Flickr Uploader to upload all your photos to your Flickr account. It installs easy on Windows Vista, XP, etc. and it is an extremely small program. You can download it from here by download.com
Basically, you can drag and drop photos to this uploading tool. If you have a Pro account there is no limit for the number of photos you can upload, otherwise you are limited to 200 photos I believe, as well as a certain amount of disk space for each month. After you have added all the photos that you want, you can rotate them around. That's about all you can do as far as photo editing goes with this tool.

If you need a program to view large numbers of images in a small thumbnail format as well as perform rotations, renaming, and other functions on several files at once, this is the software for you. It installs and downloads quickly on any Windows based PC, go to http://www.download.com/FastStone-Image-Viewer/3000-2192_4-10664984.html to get your free copy.
This program is very impressive. You will see a folder browser on the left side, as soon as you click on one of your folders that is filled with images, they will all show up in small thumbnails. If you click on one of the thumbnails a larger preview image will appear for that thumbnail image. Also, under each thumbnail it will tell you the name of the file as well as the height and width of each image, which is a nice feature.

Many people probably have not heard of the term “abandonware”. It is a term that refers to computer software that is now out of date and not sold on the markets or supported by developers. Therefore, the software is officially abandoned. It is not exactly public domain for most of it, but it really is abandoned software that nobody is worrying about anymore, so here's a good website to get you started - www.abandonwarering.com
Most of the abandonware out there now is games. If you don't remember Command and Conquer: Red Alert, then surely you at least remember Starcraft. Starcraft is considered abandonware, since it was released almost 10 years ago. That's really old in the computer software world. There are many abandonware titles that were even released after 2000. The list goes on and on when it comes to abandonware games.
